Early spring and we had a very pleasant day along the Royal National Park
Yes, very nice conditions with not a cloud in the sky, a light SW wind and slight sea, particularly off Werrong Beach. It is a top secret spot and the team did well with about twenty fish in the box as you can see in the picture. But we also had some bad luck with George not boating a very nice yellowtail king fish off Wattamolla – it was so close! And our trolling sessions didn’t produce the salmon, kingies or tuna we were targeting. Better luck next time 🙂
We should also mention some nice sightings of gannets, albatross and other sea birds, humpbacks in the distance, dolphins offshore and also a pod up in Port Hacking River which is a little unusual.
