Guys and girls, this is the season for sport fishing! 24 C offshore with mahi mahi around the FADs
Today we had a good forecast with NE wind around 15 to 20 knots, sea at about a meter and a half with and a slight wind chop. That was until mid-day when the wind increased as expected, up to 20+ knots. As planned, it was a good time to head home to Cronulla.
The team did really well, guided by Craig working hard to keep up with preparing bait, fixing broken lines and cleaning fish. As you can see in the picture, the catch rate was good with three boxes of quality fish. Here they are, all iced down and shared so everybody could came home with at least three dollies each, a skipjack and/or bonito.
This is sport fishing at its best.
