It was a wonderful morning

It was a wonderful morning as we were heading towards Cronulla, preparing for a day at sea

Today we had the calm before the storm with the barometer dropping rapidly. And that has an impact on fish behaviour – the catch rate was a little below average, i.e. 16 fish onboard. But we had very nice sea conditions and a great team onboard.

We were also lucky to meet a family of three seals at middle Ground and a couple of miles further east we had a meeting with a humpback whale, turning on a little display for us.

Speaking of the weather, we have cancelled all day tomorrow because of a gale warning with 30 to 40 knots from the south and rising seas up to five metres.
