Nice fishing this weekend with light wind in the morning and slight seas until…
…the wind came in. As it is this time of the year, sea breezes kick in around midday, this weekend from the NE and up to 25 knots. But the teams did well both Saturday and Sunday.
On both days the kingies and salmon didn’t want to play. We saw big schools off Wattamolla and in Bate Bay but they were not interested in our offerings.
On Saturday we had a couple of very nice flounders coming in, the biggest one at 39 cm. They are excellent eating cooked whole in butter and lemon. As you can see in the picture we finished with a nice box of mixed fish today Sunday i.e. snapper, wrasses, morwong, flathead, pike and leather jackets.
Take care and if we don’t see you before Christmas have a nice and safe holiday break.
