The weekend that was…a bit windy but some nice fish came onboard.
Yes it was a little windy but mostly from the west which saved the day for us. With a westerly wind we get some protection by being close to shore and under the cliffs down south at the Royal National Park.
The teams did well and as you can see in the picture, 12 year old Jack brought in a nice blue morwong. And have a look at Mindy with a box of fish including a moray eel that she is going to steam. That sounds very interesting.
In the picture you can also see a massive school of mackerel under the boat at out secret middle ground reef. And don’t let us forget the tassel snouted flathead. We don’t catch many of those guys so we let it free to see another day.
