FAQ | no question is too silly.. here are some answers !!

No initial deposit will be required to secure the booking although we will require a Credit / Debit card to he held on file as security and to be used in accordance with our Damage and Cancellation policy.
No payment will be taken from the card prior to the booking unless authorised by you.
(48hrs) prior to your booking you will receive an email from us asking how you wish to finalise your account.

Your payment options will be:

[1] Charge the card we have on file

[2] Supply details for another card

[3] EFT the Funds

[4] Bringing cash to the wharf.

Cronulla Public Wharf is approx 20min via road from Sydney Airport and there is plenty of non timed parking along Tonkin Street which is an easy stroll from the wharf. For those that wish to use public transfer, Cronulla Train Station is approx 200m away.

As the warmer water hits Sydney fish species such as Kingfish, Aust Salmon, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Marlin all start to become active as well as the all year species such as Snapper, Morwong, Perch, Flathead. etc. Fishing during summer is generally a mixture of trolling lurers, fishing with live bait and bottom bashing with pilchards on the reef and sand.

The colder months are really good for REEF fishing... the Snapper, Morwong, Perch all become active as does the Flathead on the sand.

MORNING Charters are [6.5hrs] all DEPART Cronulla Wharf at 5.30am.. Boarding will commence at 5.15am

AFTERNOON Charters are [4hrs] and DEPART from Cronulla Wharf at 12.30pm...Boarding will commence at 12.15pm

Individual or SHARED bookings are welcome on WEEKEND MORNING sessions only (ie: Sat-Sun mornings). Cost is $240pp.. we do have a min number of seat we need to fill for the charter to proceed.

Whole Boat or PRIVATE bookings are welcome (7) days per week Morning and Afternoons. If you book the whole boat we can customise the day to suit your requirements... each boat has a min booking fee although if you book the boat, you can choose how many people you invite.

Every fishing trip is lead by Experienced fishing guides and skippers that have been fishing the waters off Sydney for 20+years. All fishing equipment, bait, licences, etc, are all included. If you wish to bring your favourite rod and reel, please feel free.... we will help you set it up if you need assistance.

Both Oze-Blue + Reel Fisher have the same equipment, same skippers and they fish the same spots therefore it doesn’t really matter what boat you book... have a look at each of them and see what features stand out more for YOU !

Food & Drinks are BYO. If you are going to bring alcohol, please bring cans not bottles.

Species off Sydney are very seasonal, so the time of year will depend on what species we are chasing. Have a look above in the FAQ's under Winter and Summer for more information

You must remember, we are out on the open ocean and it is always better to come prepared. Visit your chemist or doctor for sea sickness tablets/remedies. We recommend Travelcalm Originals or Kwells or you can try Ginger as a natural remedy.

Yes you get to keep what you catch… we also gut, clean and bag them for you to take home. ALTHOUGH, we do encourage people to only take what they are going to eat…

Light rain is no problem, as we have undercover enclosed areas keeping you warm and protected. Bring a spray jacket if it looks like rain. In heavy rain and rough conditions, for your own safety we may choose to cancel the charter in which case you can re-book another day or simply walk away... as we do not charge your card until the day of the charter.

Hat, Sunglasses, and appropriate clothing for the time of year.. If you want to bring your favourite rod along, please do and our crew will help you rig it up...

MORNING Deep Sea Fishing Charters we recommend no children under 12... If you have some younger children we would recommend you book the AFTERNOON session 12.30-4.30pm as this is a boat booking and we can customise your trip to suit your requirements.
