Hey, even a Yankee can catch a fish Down Under :-)
Yep, it was a nice day with Keith, Bruce, Phillip, Matthew and Harry and Bob from Florida. We had a very nice session with a massive school of baitfish on the surface with gannets and mutton birds diving like crazy to reach the food. And all stirred up by dolphins feeding and following the boat for a free bow ride. Unfortunately no hook-up on our seven lines of trolling gear. And offshore fishing was a little slow but the guys ended up with a box of flathead on the sand banks off the Royal National Park.
As we were heading home, the strong southerly struck early with wind gusts to 30 knots+. It was a good time to get home and we even had some trouble to get back into our berth at RMYC Port Hacking, the best club in town. More info here: http://www.rmycph.com.au/
