It was a dark and stormy night with rain bucketing down ☺

Actually not so bad after all but we were very close to postponing the Deep Sea Charter with offshore swell up to four meters, wind from the south to 20 knots and rain on the radar.

But Joanne’s team was happy to go along and make it as good a day as possible for Gary ‘the birthday boy’. Our trolling session near the Jibbon bombora didn’t deliver the bonito tuna we were hoping for, but Jibbon Beach did with some nice silver trevally. And Port Hacking and Lilli Pilli saved the day!

As you can see in the pictures, Aboud hooked up a very nice Australian Salmon. Jake was happy with his 65 cm kingfish, his best catch ever. Jeff did best with nine fish including three silver trevally.

A really good day had by all despite the difficult conditions.
