Tarwhine! This is a nice catch and good offshore sea conditions

After strong wind it dropped overnight to only a few knots. So on the Saturday we had a nice day offshore, ran our trolling gear and hooked up some mac tuna and bonito. The swell was still pretty big near the beaches but fine out wide with 12 to 15 seconds between crest of the waves.
We like a reef off Kurnell in about 27 meters of water and this time Sharon hooked up a very nice 38 cm Tarwhine. They grow bigger but we haven’t seen one that size in our waters. Very nice dinner Sharon!
